Renvilles welcomes you to One Day Conference, at the prestigious Royal Marriott Hotel in Bristol, reviewing the latest legal and medical developments in spinal cord injuries.
 
This conference will cover medical and legal issues that affect spinal cord injuries cases and is aimed at practitioners working in this specialist field.
 
The day's training will address and examine some of the trends in pain treatment, SCI rehabilitation and issues arising from recent judicial decisions and will also include a personal perspective from an SIA Regional Peer Support Officer with a spinal cord injury and an introduction to the new SIA service from an experienced SIA nurse. There will also be an update by a specialist financial advisor who works exclusively in the personal injury field.
 
Medical experts speaking on their specialist subjects include Dr Pradeep Thumbikat, Consultant Surgeon in Spinal Injuries, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and Honorary Senior Lecturer, Sheffield University, and Dr Sarah Love-Jones, Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at the North Bristol NHS Trust and elected council member of The British Pain Society who also sits on the NHS England Specialised Pain Clinical Reference Group.
 
St John's Chambers' personal injury barristers, Vanessa McKinley, Head of the Clinical Negligence Group, and Richard Stead, will be speaking on the day and the Conference is chaired by Glyn Edwards, Head of the Personal Injury Group.
 
There is a pre Conference Drinks Reception on 1 November from 6.00pm at the Bristol Marriott Hotel for informal networking with fellow professionals.
