Marc Harris

Marc joined Renvilles in 2021 as a Legal Director. He was formerly an operations manager for the Bristol office at his previous firm. Marc is a Costs Lawyer and started work in this field in 2011 and so offers a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Marc supports and works with a number of clients practicing in a wide range of specialisms to include but not limited to commercial litigation, banking & finance, personal injury, clinical negligence, industrial disease, aviation, and arbitration proceedings.

His experience includes:

• Project managing multi-million-pound Bills of Costs
• Drafting Costs Budgets and dealing with all aspects of the costs management process
• Drafting Bills of Costs and dealing with all aspects of the assessment proceedings
• Advocacy
• Paying party work
• Insurance assessments
• Advising on costs related issues
• Technical support
• Client management
• Business development and relationship building

OUTSIDE WORK

Marc’s interests include:

• Playing tennis (when the weather allows)
• Gaming (all things strategic and nerdy)
• Travelling (exploring new cultures, trying new foods, and seeing the world)
• Animal welfare (even the little things can make a difference)
